I have particular passion for couples therapy & sex therapy. I am excited to support you in building your most fulfilling and aligned life.

Why I Do This Work:

I came to this work through a deep curiosity about how people heal in relationship. So many of the struggles we carry—shame, loneliness, disconnection, self-doubt—take root in the relationships and systems we grow up in. And yet, I believe that it is also through relationship that we can truly heal.

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that people are not broken. Humans are intelligent and creative, and our ways of coping, protecting ourselves, and relating to others often make sense when we understand the context they developed in. I believe there is something profoundly transformative about being seen, understood, and held with care in moments of vulnerability.

I grew up in the Midwest in a church community that shaped how I understood myself, relationships, and the world. Over time, I have done my own work of questioning and deconstructing parts of that background, which continues to inform how I show up in the therapy room—with sensitivity to shame, identity, and the tension many people feel between who they’ve been told to be and who they are becoming.

I am currently completing my master’s degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy at Lewis & Clark College.

How I Do This Work:

I value authentic relationships with clients and prioritize creating a space where clients can feel seen, respected, and encouraged.

My approach is rooted in curiosity, warmth, and humor, with the understanding that therapy is a collaborative process. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide reflection and support as we work together toward your goals.

I work from a systemic perspective, which means we will explore how your experiences, relationships, and larger cultural contexts have shaped the patterns in your life. I draw from emotionally focused, existential, and narrative therapies to help clients better understand their emotional worlds, the stories they carry about themselves, and the relational cycles that can keep people feeling stuck.

As a therapist, I feel honored to sit with people in the complexity of their lives. My hope is to create a space where you can feel deeply witnessed, and we can explore your story with compassion rather than judgment.

I believe that therapy can help you move toward a life that feels more authentic, where there is both safety and freedom in how you relate to yourself and others.

A Bit More About Me as a Human

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a big fan of cozy living - reading, baking, crafting, and spending time with my little black cat. When I’m feeling less indoorsy, I love exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest: long neighborhood walks, trips to the coast, trying new restaurants, and occasionally ending up at a comedy show or live music event. Most of all, I love spending time with my favorite humans.
