Meet Your Autism & ADHD Coach, Alicia Brunson

“I am a queer, late-identified AuDHD person of color, who is multiply marginalized and chronically ill. I feel compelled to help others within my community that may be going through their own struggles and barriers.

You might feel alone, misunderstood, and like you don’t really know who you are without the mask. The amount of information out there can be both overwhelming and inaccurate. What I do is provide support to assist you with challenges that may come up as well as helping you implement ND affirming skills into your life.

Privacy & Diagnosis Information at Empowered Fulfillment Therapy

Is an Autism or ADHD diagnosis saved on my medical record for coaching services?

  • Your self-diagnosis or official diagnosis information is kept securely in our internal client portal. It is not shared with insurance companies or added to external medical records.

  • It will not be accessible to outside sources without your written consent (Release of Information) or via court subpoena - in that case, we generally would only give a summary of care. We will always do our best to protect your confidentiality within the limits of the law.

  • If maintaining privacy around your diagnosis is important to you, we recommend being mindful about what you share with medical providers and insurance carriers. You always have the right to ask other providers not to include certain information in your medical chart if that feels safer for you.
